Come on down to Whitireia Park and join Mountains to Sea Wellington for one of our free summer community snorkel events.
As part of Parks Week, and brought to you in partnership with Greater Wellington, this is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to see the beauty of our underwater world.
Take a peek at the fascinating array of marine organisms that live right here on our doorstep, out of sight, just under the surface. Hear local ocean experts share knowledge on seaweed, sponges and many other amazing creatures found along our coastline.
Beginner snorkelers are encouraged (but you must be comfortable in the water), and gear provided free of charge.
