We have made the decision to postpone the Bike the Remutaka Family Day event until next year due to move to the Red Traffic Light. Keep an eye out next year for our Summer Events 2023.

Get on your mountain bike and experience all the best bits of the Remutaka Cycle Trail and beyond.
Explore restored railway bridges, zoom through historic tunnels and ride over the thrilling Siberian Suspension Bridge. Then travel down the old railway incline to the abandoned Cross Creek settlement and out to a waiting bus that will transport both you and your bike back to where you started.
Bookings required.
This ride includes a 10km gentle incline to the summit and is not suitable for children under 12 unless they are experienced riders. After the summit there is an 8km downhill cruise down to Wairarapa and we will provide transport back to the starting point.
Don’t forget to pack a picnic, snacks and water.
